Ep. 9: Mei Mei Befriends Manako, Miki's Office Plans, and the Impala Tournament

Mei Mei befriends a nervous tarsier named Manako Kagami who attempts suicide due to stress, a behavior Jin explains as normal for her species. After Manako attempts suicide again from happiness, Miyubi intervenes and advises her to overcome her instincts. Meanwhile, Shiho informs King she is in heat and demands he meet her parents, while Miki considers resigning as council president. A typhoon floods the school underground, forcing tunnel-dwelling species to share rooms with above-ground students. Hina is paired with mole-girl Hoshino Hana, and Miki converts Jin’s room into her office. She asks Jin to replace her, citing his ability to cooperate with multiple species, but withdraws the offer upon hearing his evil plans. Jin argues that Miki also forms inter-species friendships, causing her to strip in joy. The cooking club arrives, leading to a misunderstanding resolved by everyone stripping to their underwear. A new predator girl senses a human at Seton, and Shiho’s parents agree to trust King only if he participates in an Impala Tournament.
