Ep. 8: Jin helps a beluga whale-girl overcome vocal challenges to join the idol group.

Jin’s class visits Seton's Sea Academy, where Shiraumi Kana, a Beluga whale-girl, flees after a failed welcome performance. Ranka and Mei Mei discover Kana desires to join the dolphin-girl idol pod, but Bando Ruka rejected her because Belugas swim slower. Jin suggests Kana use her species' natural vocal abilities, though she initially sings poorly. Ruka alternately begs and demands Jin stop Kana, citing species differences, while a giraffe-boy interrupts Jin’s romantic moment with Hitomi. Kana fears mixing species, but Ranka trusts Jin’s leadership. Jin reveals Kana sings through a nasal cavity, not her mouth. Kana and the cooking club perform a successful show, moving Ruka to join them. Kana joins the swimming club, but her confession to Hitomi is interrupted by the giraffe-boy.
