Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu

A high school girl named Miyo Sasaki struggles with a strained family life, including a father lacking confidence and a stepmother who tries too hard to bond with her. She turns to Kento Hinode, a boy she admires, seeking emotional relief. Unable to gain his attention as herself, she adopts the form of a white cat, which Kento names "Tarou." Through this disguise, she successfully connects with him. However, she hears troubling details about Kento's life and realizes she cannot help him while remaining a cat. She faces a difficult decision: continue the relationship in her feline form or reveal her true identity and risk losing what they have.
