After catching a cold, Amemiya visits the hospital and uncovers the truth regarding Nanaka's medical condition. Nenji requests that she keep this information confidential, but Amemiya initially refuses due to jealousy over Nanaka monopolizing his attention. During P.E. class, other schoolgirls steal Nanaka's uniform, leading to a confrontation. Amemiya eventually changes her mind and helps Nanaka by returning the uniform. Later, she confesses her romantic feelings for Nenji to Nanaka, but Nanaka misinterprets the statement as a declaration that the three of them are best friends.
