Masaharu’s memory undergoes a six-month reset, returning his life to its previous state. Depressed, Sumomo is visited by him at the Gardening club, where he gives her a bandage after a sprinkler injury, mirroring an event from their first date. Nona encourages Sumomo to use medicine made from stardrops to restore Masaharu’s memories, but she refuses, choosing to cling to their shared promise. Meanwhile, Masaharu wanders town, visiting locations significant to their past relationship in an attempt to recall something. After a visit to a merry-go-round triggers vivid flashbacks, he returns to the school greenhouse. There, he finds Sumomo at the secret spot she previously showed him. Despite having no recollection of their history, Masaharu declares he will love her again, thereby fulfilling the promise they made.
