Nona researches the freezing spell, discovering that Karin-sama, a legendary Steller Spinner and her childhood idol, was the last user. Karin visited Retoroushe eighteen years ago to collect stardrops but never returned. Meanwhile, Masaharu seeks clarity on Sumomo’s feelings. Their teacher, Natsume-sensei, is revealed to be Sumomo’s uncle and Karin-sama’s former partner. Nona learns that Karin-sama is Sumomo’s mother, though Sumomo remains unaware of her lineage. After a conversation with her father, Sumomo decides to return to school to address her pending matters. She messages Masaharu to meet at their special place, but he receives the text two hours late due to his phone being off. He rushes to the garden where she waits. He confesses his love again, and she reciprocates. Together, they plant a lost bulb, symbolizing their renewed connection.
