Kazuto informs Maruo about his upcoming date with Narue, receiving advice against splitting bills or visiting arcades. Meanwhile, Yagi feels hurt after Kyoko Kudo mocked her interest in extraterrestrial life. During the date at the mall, Kazuto and Narue ignore the advice by going Dutch and visiting an arcade, where Maruo secretly watches them. Yagi interrupts, accusing Narue of faking her alien identity for popularity. Kazuto loses his movie tickets but retrieves them from the arcade. Narue falls asleep during the film, causing Kazuto anxiety, but she apologizes afterward. Later, Maruo comforts a depressed Yagi by showing her the aurora. Despite having the ability to teleport, Narue chooses to walk home with Kazuto.
