Kanaka prepares for her first day of school by having Bathyscaphe project a fake UFO image to impress Yagi, who previously reported an unidentified flying object. At school, Yagi annoys Kazuto by questioning him about starships, while Kanaka struggles to adjust to the routine. Kyoko bullies Yagi by writing a message about her and Kazuto on the chalkboard, but Narue silently erases it. Yagi befriends Kanaka and invites her over, but Bathyscaphe orders Narue to retrieve her. Yagi discovers the relationship between Narue and Kanaka, which disappoints her. Upon returning home, Kanaka slaps Narue, stating that Yagi has treated her well. The next morning, Kanaka and Kazuto help Narue and Yagi reconcile as they walk to school together.
