Yuukimaru attempts to restrain the Three-Tails but exhausts his chakra, allowing the beast to attack Guren. She protects him using a Crystal Style shield. Tobi directs Deidara toward the creature while Naruto searches for Yuukimaru, eventually engaging the Three-Tails alongside Guren. The duo fails to defeat the beast, which swallows them both. Kakashi, Shino, and Sai locate the unconscious Yuukimaru and retreat, leaving Kabuto frustrated. This event occurs during the Three-Tails' Appearance arc, specifically part 18 of 24.
