Sasori assaults Sakura with fire techniques, leading her to dismantle his body. He reforms and deploys a hundred elite puppets. Chiyo counters with ten Chikamatsu puppets, initiating a great battle that results in mutual nullification. Sakura uses a dog puppet to smash Sasori, paralyzing him. However, Sasori transfers his heart to another puppet and drives a poisonous blade through Sakura's side, a strike originally intended for Chiyo. This event occurs during the Kazekage Rescue Mission arc, specifically episode 26 out of 32.
