Ep. 27: Chiyo revives Sakura while Sasori dies after revealing a spy within Orochimaru's ranks.

Chiyo administers an antidote to the wounded Sakura, after which Sasori’s parental puppets pierce his heart, seemingly causing his death. Chiyo explains that her One's Own Life Reincarnation Technique allows for the revival of the deceased at the cost of the user's life. Before passing, Sasori commends Sakura and discloses that he has a spy named Kabuto Yakushi embedded in Orochimaru's forces, with a scheduled meeting at the Tenchi Bridge of the Hidden Grass Village ten days later. Meanwhile, Kakashi activates his Mangekyo Sharingan to coordinate with Naruto on a strategy against Deidara. Sasori concludes by stating he would not hesitate to kill his own grandmother, citing his history of killing hundreds and thousands of people.
