Nagato and Itachi encounter Naruto and Killer Bee, prompting Kabuto to order Itachi to attack. During the fight, Itachi learns Sasuke knows the truth about the Uchiha Clan Massacre and asks Naruto to keep it secret. Itachi uses a crow containing Shisui Uchiha’s eye to cast Kotoamatsukami on Nagato, freeing himself from Kabuto’s control. However, Nagato’s corpse regenerates and, with Kabuto’s urging, absorbs chakra from Killer Bee’s Eight Tails to restore his youth. The regenerated Nagato then captures Naruto, preparing to extract his soul while Kabuto seeks to acquire Shisui’s eye.
