Naruto learns Son Goku hid his continued bond to the Gedo Statue, causing distress after receiving chakra. With Tobi sealing Son back and forcing other Jinchuriki to transform, Kurama offers power. Naruto declares Kurama a friend, removing the seal to access a stronger Nine Tails Chakra Mode. He saves Kakashi and Guy while battling five Tailed Beasts, matching their collaborative Tailed Beast Ball. Clones remove chakra receivers, transporting Naruto to a mental plane with the Jinchuriki and beasts. They share their names and reveal the connection between Roshi and Son. Kurama recalls the Sage of the Six Paths, feeling assured Naruto is the foretold one. Despite Tobi sealing the beasts back into the Gedo Statue and dismissing the victory, Naruto remains determined after learning the difficult names.
