Rinko develops a fever after getting caught in the rain. With her parents away, Yuka cancels plans to obtain a special poster to care for her. Meanwhile, Natsumi and Saki participate in a practice doubles match against skilled seniors. Once Rinko recovers, Yuka catches the cold. The group reflects on how Rinko’s visions and Yuka’s support forged their friendship, while worrying about Saki’s upcoming move. They prepare to make a wish on a rock for Yuka’s recovery, but she returns healthy before they can. After the four girls accidentally tumble down some steps together, they all gain the ability to see the whales that Rinko sees in her daydreams.
