Before Saki relocates, the group discusses a final journey together, with Natsumi proposing a visit to Tokyo and the nearby island. While preparing, Saki suffers from recurring nightmares about being abandoned. Upon reaching Tokyo, they board an overnight ferry to the island. During the voyage, Saki relives her fears, prompting Natsumi to encourage her to express her reluctance about moving and even offer to intervene with her parents to let her remain in Shimoda. After arriving at the island, Yuka nearly drowns in the ocean but is saved by a lifeguard who displays hostility toward the group.
