Ikta assumes the role of an Imperial Knight and starts his new life at the High-Level Officer's School. Due to his easy boredom, he finds it hard to integrate with his peers. He quickly picks fights and makes enemies among the upper ranks. During a mock exercise, he is set up in a trap intended to humiliate him. Complicating matters further, his platoon commander refuses to listen to his advice. This disregard stems from a personal history involving her mother.
