Ikta and his troops are dispatched to provide supplies to imperial forces struggling in the ongoing war. The imperial soldiers, unaccustomed to high mountain combat and led by ineffective commanders, suffer significant losses. Ikta formulates a clever plan to recapture an enemy fortress. However, a messenger arrives pleading for assistance to save allied troops. Ikta must decide whether to risk his own soldiers' lives to aid them or allow the other imperial force to face inevitable destruction. This choice forces him to weigh the safety of his unit against the potential loss of additional allies in the harsh mountainous terrain.
