Ep. 1: Assassin Mireille Bouquet teams up with amnesiac Kirika Yuumura to uncover her mysterious past in Japan.

Mireille Bouquet, an assassin in Paris, receives an email from Kirika Yuumura inviting her to a pilgrimage for the past. After hearing a familiar tune from the message, Mireille travels to Japan and follows Kirika to a construction site where they are attacked by men in business suits. They then visit Kirika’s apartment, where she explains she woke up with no memories, possessing only a fake ID, a Beretta M1934 pistol, and a pocketwatch that plays the same tune. Recognizing a shared history through the watch, Mireille agrees to help Kirika recover her past, though she warns she will kill Kirika once the mission ends. Returning to Paris, the pair announce their availability as guns-for-hire under the codename Noir.
