Spilled tea causes a minor dispute between Asami and Kyosuke, prompting Asami to leave home. Kyosuke eventually follows, and the couple spends hours searching the town for one another while Asami’s father celebrates with Sakura. The next day, Kyosuke contacts the school to apologize. Iwasaki becomes suspicious after overhearing Kyosuke speak with his father-in-law. Asami, having wandered in the cold without a coat, develops a high fever. She collapses at a convenience store, where the manager transports her to the hospital and informs the school that Kyosuke’s “little sister” Asami is seriously ill. Iwasaki is displeased to discover this previously unknown relative shares the exact name of her rival.
