After school, Iwasaki questions Kyosuke about his marriage at a family restaurant. Flustered, Kyosuke flees without his briefcase, prompting Iwasaki to deliver it to his home. There, Asami attempts to hide but is betrayed by a cockroach, causing dinner to spill on the floor once more. Later, Kyosuke is summoned to the headmaster's office. Upon seeing Iwasaki standing at the desk, he fears his secret has been exposed. Consequently, Kyosuke presents the headmaster with a prepared letter of resignation he was carrying. The situation resolves with an unexpected Christmas miracle.
