Ep. 9: Ringo Reunites with Himeno After Years of Silence Following Family Displacement

Ringo struggles to approach Himeno Shirayuki, who raises seven siblings, due to guilt over a past family conflict. Three years prior, Ringo’s father and Himeno’s mother divorced, leading Ringo’s family to move into the home and displace Himeno. Believing she forced Himeno out, Ringo avoided her until a trip to a swimming pool with the Otogi Bank and Himeno’s siblings. When Himeno nearly drowns while saving a sibling, Ringo performs CPR, allowing them to finally reconnect. The following day, Ringo persuades school director Ranpu Aragami to grant Himeno a special university scholarship, resolving their long-standing estrangement through this act of support and reconciliation.
