Ep. 12: Kyoya and Erika visit Kobe for a summer festival with Kyoya's family

Upon reaching Kobe, Erika meets Kyoya’s mother, discovering she is a doting woman, which brings Erika relief. During dinner, Kyoya’s sister Reika explains that her mother’s divorce from Kyoya’s father and her belief that she caused the split led to Kyoya’s distrust of love. The group prepares for a summer festival by trying on yukatas, and Kyoya eventually agrees to attend after changing his mind. At the event, Reika recalls childhood memories while Erika attempts to engage Kyoya, who remains unresponsive. After a minor dispute, Erika leaves to call Kyoya’s mother to arrange a meeting but is knocked over by the crowd, breaking her necklace. Kyoya and Reika search frantically until the mother helps locate Erika near a dumpster. As fireworks begin, the necklace is recovered, and the family reconciles. Kyoya returns to Tokyo with Erika, where he accepts his memory of a snowman while she looks at old photos.
