A decade after the emergence of "Perception Art," it has become a widespread and colorful influence in society. Kazuya Yamanashi, the son of the art form’s creators, enrolls at the prestigious Eisen High School alongside his childhood friend Jun Tsuzuki, hoping to become a Perception Artist. Kazuya also seeks to reconnect with Kyou Takise, another childhood friend who has distanced himself since an incident ten years prior. Kyou, whose father is also a key figure in Perception Art and a respected "grader," studies the subject at Eisen High but has been avoiding Kazuya and Jun. He carries emotional wounds he has kept hidden.
