Ep. 3: Selena's Kidnapping Plot and Rufus's True Mastermind Reveal

Geordo receives a ransom letter demanding he renounce his right to the throne. Catarina wakes up in an unknown mansion held by Selena, butler Rufus, and maid Lana. Although treated well, she questions Selena, who is dissuaded by Rufus. Catarina's friends suspect a dark mage is responsible. Selena later explains she kidnapped Catarina to help Ian become king, believing rumors that he hates her due to her insecurities. Catarina advises Selena to ask Ian directly instead of trusting rumors. Touched, Selena intends to release Catarina, but Rufus casts a sleeping spell on her. He reveals himself as the true mastermind, planning to use Selena as a scapegoat while making Ian, Geordo, and Catarina disappear.
