Geordo invites Catarina to his family vacation home for the summer, but Alan also brings friends, causing Geordo annoyance. Catarina admits she does not share his romantic feelings and rejects marriage into the royal family to preserve her carefree lifestyle. Maria suggests Catarina join the Department of Magic. During a rainy stay at the cottage, Catarina, Mary, and Sophia share childhood stories about their first time at the Stuart vacation home. They once searched for a ghost in the nearby forest and waited out a thunderstorm inside. Catarina helped Sophia overcome her fear of thunder through imagination. Later, they discovered the ghost was actually Catarina’s mother scolding her for climbing trees. In the present, the group enjoys the post-rain forest scenery and watches fireworks from the balcony.
