Ep. 4: Rufus shares his tragic past with Catarina before accepting his arrest by authorities.
Rufus explains that his master David Mason intends for Geoffrey to become king. He is surprised that Catarina finds his spy life cool rather than frightening. Rufus recounts being sold into slavery by Mason after stealing, and his earlier life as an orphan named Sora who stole medicine for his dying guardian. Upon learning of Mason's exposed plot, Rufus accepts arrest by Lana, also known as Larna Smith, head of the Department of Magic and Raphael's boss. He promises to travel with Catarina if they meet again. Meanwhile, Ian reunites with Selena, confessing his love and apologizing. Catarina rejoins her friends, who are shocked to find a hickey she received from Rufus. To clarify his feelings, Geordo kisses Catarina, surprising everyone present.
