Ep. 6: Kabetaijin’s Rap Battle with Kongming at the BB Lounge
Kabetaijin observes a rap battle at the BB Lounge and considers leaving until Eiko’s song triggers memories of overcoming social anxiety through a rapping group. This past experience led him to become a championship rapper. Kongming interrupts his departure with a new challenge, which Kabetaijin accepts. Sekitoba witnesses the intense battle where Kabetaijin’s revived passion allows him to overwhelm Kongming, who admits defeat. Satisfied, Sekitoba departs. Kongming asks about Kabetaijin’s wish, which Kabetaijin states is fulfilled by returning to rap, yet he agrees to join Kongming’s band. Unbeknownst to them, Kongming manipulated the event by using a spy to identify Kabetaijin’s favorite song and adding stomach medicine to his drink, employing a stratagem to entice his rival.
