Eiko performs with Nanami but feels inferior, losing confidence. Kabetaijin struggles with lyrics for his match against Sekitoba. They meet at the BB Lounge for an impromptu duet. Eiko advises Kabetaijin to revisit his roots. He travels to his hometown, learning he is a celebrated local figure among friends and strangers. Eiko confides in Nanami about her struggles. Nanami agrees to train Eiko to find her unique voice. Over several days, Nanami’s coaching significantly improves Eiko’s singing abilities. Eiko departs to prove herself to Kido. Shortly after Eiko leaves, Nanami receives a phone call and then disappears without a trace.
