Ash and Goh travel back to the Galar Region with Pikachu, Raboot, Riolu, and Farfetch'd to watch a World Coronation Series match between Master Class trainers Leon and Raihan. The battle intensifies when both opponents use Gigantamax. Later, the group meets Sonia, who reveals disturbing information regarding the power behind Gigantamax. Additionally, Riolu gets its first real chance to battle when they encounter a tough Galarian Farfetch'd.
