Ash and Goh travel to the Kalos Region to participate in the Battle Festival, an event featuring many competitors also involved in the World Coronation Series. While Goh focuses on capturing new Pokémon, Ash enters a World Coronation Series Ranking Match against his former friend and Gym Leader, Korrina. The contest is a two-on-two battle pitting Ash’s Gengar and Dragonite against Korrina’s Mienshao and Lucario. Ash must utilize his current team to secure a victory in this intense duel. During the proceedings, Goh observes the phenomenon of Mega-Evolution for the very first time, witnessing the power firsthand as the battle unfolds between the two skilled trainers.
