Three years ago, Goh met a boy named Horace during a family trip to Azalea Town in the Johto region. They searched together for the Mythical Pokémon Celebi but failed to find it. After promising to meet the next day to continue their search, Horace never appeared. In the present, Goh returns to Azalea Town and encounters the ghosts of his past. Ash and Pikachu are absent from this episode.
