Satoshi, Go, and Koharu travel to Eclipse Castle in the Johto region for a festival. Himari, the current lord, shares the castle's history with the boys. Koharu meets Haruhi after her Evol is saved by Haruhi's Eifie, and the girls discover they are doppelgangers. Haruhi explains the history of her Eifie and Blacky, revealing she will become the new lord. Koharu is kidnapped by Katsuki, who mistakes her for Haruhi and demands the lordship. Satoshi and Go arrive, leading to a battle where Koharu and Haruhi defeat Katsuki. Haruhi explains that her name resembles a previous lord, while Katsuki's resembles the brother who attempted to usurp him. Realizing Katsuki is a descendant of that brother, Haruhi and Katsuki reconcile and are jointly appointed as the new lords of the castle.
