Ash and Goh accept an invitation from Opal to join a tournament in Ballonlea, where Leon will also be present. Excited by the prospect of battling Leon, Ash travels to the stadium with Goh and Chloe. There, they meet Raihan, Opal, and Leon. Opal reveals the event is actually a cake decorating competition. Ash wins the contest and faces Opal in an exhibition match. Opal’s Gigantamaxed Alcremie uses G-Max Finale on Ash’s Pikachu, causing the Pokémon to swell with cream. The unexpected physical reaction leads Opal to cancel the battle immediately.
