Ren, the assistant to Professor Cerise, shares the story of his initial encounter with his Magnemite, Francois. At the same time, a geomagnetic storm causes several Magnemite in Vermilion City to behave abnormally. The English dubbed version of this episode was dedicated to the memory of Billy Kametz, who passed away on June 9, 2022.
