After Hikari’s Pochama is taken by an alternate-universe counterpart, the group travels to Sinnoh. Rocket Dan from another dimension captures Lucario and Intereon, prompting Go and Hikari to follow him into that world. There, the alternate Hikari reveals that Pokémon are devolving into eggs. Meanwhile, Satoshi and Koharu suspect Palkia’s involvement and visit a library to learn about Dialga, Palkia, and Arceus from Shirona. After the alternate Rocket Dan attacks and retreats, Satoshi and Koharu enter the other universe just before the gate closes. While Go and the Hikaris research time and space, Satoshi encounters an alternate version of himself.
