Satoshi, Koharu, and Satoshi's doppelganger join Go and the two Hikaris as Professor Nanakamado guides them to the Spear Pillar to locate Dialga and Palkia. Upon arrival, the group discovers the legendary Pokémon restrained by a red chain responsible for time distortions. They attempt to sever the chain, but an alternate Rocket Dan intervenes, revealing his faction's plan to capture the legendaries and all rewound Pokémon for training. Dialga suddenly unleashes its power, blasting Rocket Dan away and reverting the Pokémon into eggs. The group summons Arceus, who frees Dialga and Palkia from the red chain, restoring normalcy to the timeline.
