Misty stops at an island and observes her Psyduck’s tail glowing, which a trainer suggests indicates evolution. She challenges the trainer to a battle and wins easily after discovering he possesses a Golduck. Team Rocket attempts to interfere with their plans during this encounter. Later, it is revealed that the Golduck was actually a wild Pokémon, as Misty’s Psyduck had merely slept inside its Pokéball without evolving.
