However, Mile, Skyla's grandfather and the former Gym Leader, claims she can predict the outcome of any real battle without fighting. Instead, she proposes an imaginary contest known as the "Air Battle," which is exclusively for flying-type Pokémon. As numerous trainers attempt to challenge her, Cilan decides to confront Skyla directly. He seeks to prove that her imaginary battles are flawed, refusing to tolerate the nature of the contests she conducts.
