Ash's class receives a newly discovered Alolan Pokémon egg to care for. Lillie volunteers to take the egg home to confront her fear of handling Pokémon. As she and Ash transport it, a Salandit trails them. Upon arriving, Lillie's butler Hobbes engages in a practice battle with Ash. During this time, the Salandit attacks Lillie and the egg, creating a dangerous situation for the group.
