Ep. 72: Ash and friends visit a haunted mansion where ghosts provide playful hospitality

Seeking shelter from rain, Ash, Pikachu, Serena, and Bonnie enter a mansion owned by Lon. The owner serves them food while his ghostly companions, Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar, attempt to show hospitality through scares. The group falls through trapdoors into a basement where Clemont discovers a 200-year-old journal detailing a secret room Lon used as a child. They also find a 200-year-old photograph of Lon, revealing he is deceased. The group wakes up in the forest, leaving Ash, Serena, and Clemont uncertain whether the events were real or a dream.
