While resting in a meadow en route to Anistar City, Serena and Bonnie encounter a dancing Eevee. Ash’s shout startles the creature, prompting Serena to stage a performance to lure it back. Eevee approaches but is captured by Team Rocket. During the ensuing conflict, Eevee shields Serena using Protect, allowing Pikachu to defeat the villains with Thunderbolt. Serena then invites Eevee to join her Pokemon Showcase team. After a moment of hesitation, Eevee accepts the offer. The group continues their journey with this new addition, having successfully resolved the encounter and secured a new companion for Serena’s future performances.
