While visiting Sanpei in Ninja Village, the group witnesses Chief Hanzo’s abduction by Kagetomo’s mysterious ninja faction. Kagetomo, a skilled warrior, seeks to usurp Hanzo’s leadership role. Sanpei and his brothers resolve to rescue their chief, joining forces with Ash, Serena, and Clemont for a direct confrontation. During the intense battle, Ash’s Frogadier undergoes a significant evolution into the powerful Greninja. This transformation helps defeat the ninja force, leading Kagetomo to abandon his ambitions and return to his training. Following the victory, the heroes celebrate at the village festival, where Hanzo appoints Sanpei’s eldest brother, Ippei, as the new chief. After the group leaves, the middle brother, Nihei, observes Ash’s Greninja and recalls memories of the village’s ancient hero.
