A high school club called Stride is inactive at Hounan Academy. Two first-year students, Takeru Fujiwara and Nana Sakurai, try to revive it but need six more members. They approach Riku Yagami, who refuses, claiming he has no interest in Stride. Despite his rejection, Takeru and Nana take Riku to the clubroom to persuade him further.
