Myuuto targets Freya in the practice room but is interrupted by Princess Tutu. In town, Duck encounters a child named Uzura holding a drum. By the smith's shop, she learns from Fakir that Uzura was crafted from the unburned wood of the puppet Edel, who previously saved them after the underground lake duet. A school contest offers a chance to dance with Myuuto as the prize, which Freya wins. At the fountain, Myuuto attempts to claim her heart again but is thwarted by Fakir and Princess Tutu. Freya is rescued, and Myuuto vanishes. The Raven expresses frustration to Kraehe for failing to provide a suitable heart.
