Meanwhile, Uzura encounters Edel’s ghost at the story machine’s base and reverses the gears, triggering flashbacks for Rue, Duck, and Fakir. Struggling to find the right words, Fakir eventually succeeds in writing a narrative that extracts Tutu from the machine, calling her back to safety. This sequence resolves the immediate crisis within the gear-dominated dimension while revealing past events through the reversed timeline.
