Ziming requests instruction in mechanisms from Master Ban, noting Zifang’s warning about being watched. Zifang informs Yan Lu of his meeting with Li Si regarding Hanfei, suspecting the Fearsome Curse of the Six Souls caused his death. He theorizes Hanfei knew of the Seven Stars of the Azure Dragon, a secret involving all seven kingdoms that may be found in the floating Mirage City. Meanwhile, the Moon Goddess asks Qianlong to open a copper box, believing she holds the key to the Azure Dragon’s secret. Overwhelmed by the volume of literature on mechanisms, Ziming doubts his ability to learn it all. Master Ban provides him with the Exalting Unity Mohist Cube, stating that solving it will grant him understanding of Mohist mechanisms.
