Shi Lan and Ziyu flee Hidden Bat atop Blackie, a large black cat. Ge Nie engages General Meng with a wooden sword but is interrupted by Star Wraith, leading to a standoff as fog rolls in and Meng’s troops advance. Meng realizes Ge Nie’s assault was a diversion designed to enable Dao Zhi to free Ah Zhong, a Mohist prisoner coerced into revealing his comrades' location. Meanwhile, Ziyu, also known as Xiang Shaoyu, expresses his loneliness to Shi Lan. In response, Shi Lan discloses her true identity as Xiao Yu, a member of the Mount Shu clan, deepening the personal connection between the two characters amidst the ongoing conflict.
