While escorting Xun Zi to Duanmu Rong, the group encounters bandits attacking a merchant. Ziming utilizes an Anti-War weapon to defeat the attackers, saving everyone and further impressing Xun Zi, who subsequently begins to treat Duanmu Rong. It is later revealed that the merchant is Prince Fushu of the Qin Empire. The Moon Goddess presents Yue-er to the Eastern Emperor, who discloses that her real name is Jiru Qianlong. He explains that females without noble blood possess only a surname until marriage. Additionally, the Moon Goddess provides him with a music box previously taken from the Mohist Machinery City.
