Nanael drinks at Nyx’s bar and hears rumors of a horned monster, suspecting Melona. She joins Melpha but encounters Tomoe instead. Meanwhile, Elina is chosen by Claudette as the only sister fit to serve Count Vance. Nanael attempts to recruit Leina for an ambush but shares intelligence on Aldra instead. The group deduces Aldra allies with heavenly beings, as sacred milk harms divine entities but revived Melona. Melona spies as Lana. Leina finally confronts Tomoe at her old shrine in Hinomoto. Tomoe, now white-haired and driven by grief and Shizuka’s memory, fights fiercely. Leina accepts past events and wins. Tomoe claims to understand her victory. Ymir markets the reforged sword, selling cheap copies. Tomoe awakens in the Palace of Grief.
