Nodoka prepares to leave the Tendo household the next morning. Akane arranges for Ranma and Nodoka to meet at a nearby park and later at a restaurant. Genma intervenes to stop their meeting. Nodoka walks toward a water main that explodes, launching her into the sky. Ranma reluctantly saves her, allowing her to glimpse her son before fainting. Upon waking, she sees Ranma in female form and believes the encounter was a dream. The episode concludes with Ranma and Akane saying "See ya!" to the viewers.
